That’s what I want for you: that you are able to communicate easily in Dutch. Language connects people and it will increase your chances of finding work in the Netherlands. My ambition is to help you achieve that.

Hallo! I’m José van Brussel, founder of Het Taalkabinet. I’ve been a teacher all my life, 25 years of which teaching French. I also worked as an au pair in France for a year so I know what it’s like to learn a new language.

Nowadays, my classroom is simply at my home, in Eindhoven. I give Dutch lessons from my very own classroom. And I do that with a big smile, day in and day out.

Because I love teaching. I love language. And I find it fascinating to learn about other cultures. Culture plays an important part in communication. For that reason, the Dutch language lessons also take time out to look at cultural differences.
